PAULA PANAGOULEAS-MILLER
Founder and CEO
Paula has many years of experience managing global teams and multi-million-dollar companies through her various positions with Fortune 500 companies, banking, Investment Firms, Corporate Treasury, and the Private Sector.
Paula graduated from The University of Dayton on the Dean’s List with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a double major in Finance and International Business. She has also received her Master of Business Administration graduating Summa Cum Laude from Tiffin. In addition, Paula is a Harvard graduate with Master of Liberal Arts with a concentration in Sustainability and Environmental management.
As a Certified Relationship Coach, she’s committed to her passion in helping people have great relationships.
Lastly, Paula is the proud daughter of an immigrant and a successful book author. She enjoys spending her free time raising her beautiful children Amelia and Arlo, with her loving and supportive husband Dr. Jason Miller.
JOHN MOHYI
Co-Founder and Chief Legal Counsel
John is spearheading the financial and legal efforts for Karmascore's business infrastructure. He is one of four legal researchers hired by the Michigan Council on Future Mobility to evaluate the Michigan Motor Vehicle Code for compatibility with automated vehicles.
John is a Wayne State University graduate receiving Honors Degrees in Economics and Psychology. He also received his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law in 2018 with a focus on Intellectual Property, Artificial Intelligence, and Entrepreneurial law.
In his spare time, he has served as a First Robotics mentor and has also been recently appointed as a board member to the West Bloomfield Zoning Board of Appeals.
AMY MARCHLEN
Co-Founder and Chief People Officer
Amy is an experienced HR and Compensation Executive with a strong background in Human Resource Management. She is also the Associate Vice President of Compensation for Revantage, a Blackstone Company. She has previously held consulting roles at Hay Group and Aon Hewitt and worked in compensation at The University of Chicago Medical Center.
Amy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, from John Carroll University, focusing on Management, Human Resources, and Psychology. She also received her Master of Science in Human Resource Management and MBA from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, as well as her Professional Certification in Human Resources.
In her spare time, Amy volunteers in various community and educational organizations, as the Personnel Vice President of the Junior League of Chicago. She’s also President of the Lambda Mu Chapter of Chi Omega House Corporation at Loyola University Chicago, Treasurer of the Chicago Alumnae Panhellenic Conference, and as well as President of the John Carroll Chicago Alumni Chapter.
EMILY GRUSH
Co-Founder and Chief Creative Services Designer
Emily is a highly skilled multimedia designer, content developer, and creative guru for Karmascore. As a generalist, she has a wide array of knowledge from motion graphics, web design, to social media.
She has honed her artistic expertise by serving small businesses in the Southeastern Michigan area. She's also teaching as an adjunct instructor of Animation at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center. In addition to her teaching, she was also a graphic designer for Oxford Bank's marketing department.
In 2020, Emily graduated from Kendall College of Art and Design with honors. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a focus in Multimedia Design.
Emily enjoys bringing her ideas to life through her digital illustrations, cooking new recipes, and enjoying the outdoors.
VIRGINIA DORI
Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer
Virginia brings over 25 years of high-technology leadership in marketing, communications and sales strategy, encompassing company and product positioning, demand generation, brand recognition, digital and traditional marketing, investor relations, and change management with Fortune 500 companies and startups.
She’s the Founder of CMO-on-Demand Consulting and recently held CEO/CMO consulting role for a software stealth startup in cybersecurity, for applications in fintech, cryptocurrency, blockchain, modern wealth management and mobile gaming markets, which exited ahead of schedule.
Virginia started her high-tech career at INTEL and has held key positions with JDSU (now Viavi and Lumentum), CIENA, PNY Technologies and VLSI Technology (acquired by Philips and now NXP). She was instrumental in over $2B in portfolio gains from software startup exits.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications and Marketing from Far Eastern University, Manila. Virginia is a published author of the novel "Walk with Destiny" and also an accomplished Fine Artist. Her preferred medium is Oil on Canvas.
She raised two sons and is an avid global traveler, with Europe as her favorite destination.
MICHELLE NIELSON
Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer
Michelle lends her operations and business expertise to a variety of Karmascore’s major initiatives and special projects. She brings over a decade of corporate and managerial experience in marketing, sales, insurance, and audit.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Arizona State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. She has been recognized by the National Society of Leadership and Success as a new and up-and-coming leader to watch for.
A wife and proud mother of four, Michelle enjoys singing and is classically trained in opera. In her spare time, she also enjoys crafting, baking, and reading.
SCOTT TERRY
Chief Information Officer
Scott spearheads the dynamic IT infrastructure at Karmascore, including enterprise platforms, products, and data protection initiatives in collaboration with the technology and executive team.
He brings over fifteen years of risk management, information technology, and cybersecurity experience from both the public and private sectors where he developed his expertise in driving innovative network solutions.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Masters of Accountancy from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He is a Certified Information System Auditor with accreditation from ISACA.
In his spare time, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, tinkering in his workshop, and playing games of all types.
MATTHEW HORVAT
Chief Technology Officer
Matthew leads the product development and innovation team at Karmascore. He makes technology decisions and ongoing development on the core mobile app offering, in collaboration with the CEO, technology and creative teams.
Matt brings over ten years of development and technology experience, where he has led numerous teams focused on delivering high-performance applications and outstanding user/customer experiences (UX/CX).
He earned his bachelor degree in Management Information Systems from Liberty University. Matt also holds several Microsoft Certifications including: Azure Developer, Azure Administrator and DevOps Engineer Expert.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys improving his technical acumen and reading relevant books and learning tools. Most importantly, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four daughters. Matt leads the Production Team at South Hills Assembly, where he directs the weekly livestream of church services. He also is a member of South Hills Assembly’s Church Board and Secretary of the Board for the Lumine Homeschoolers of Pittsburgh.
